Happy Friday!!
The PLEA FOR PEACE FOUNDATION will be working with my friend Jenny Choi as the new executive director of plea for peace. In the eleven years we've been alive, the foundation has never been able to tap into the non-profit sector of grant writing. All our fund raising has been regulated to nickel and diming through tabling at punk shows and the generous donations of supporters. Jenny will not only be helping with grant proposals, but will help facilitate our goals as a foundation and how we can best be used to work with various communities.

Jenny Choi has long been a supporter of our foundation. She even participated in our bike tour a few years back. She was one of only 2 women to participate. She made it all the way from Portland, Oregon to San Francisco, California. In fact, we did a lot of the riding together as we climbed hills while muttering "oh... look at the scenery" in a painful tone.

But yes, we are excited to have Jenny Choi as part of the foundation and hope her knowledge and experience in the world of non-profits will help us continue to grow and make a change with young people around the world.

We are also working on a music festival in November to take place in Pomona, California. We will update the site once we get more information.
